Carol graduated in 1970, after attending the West of England College of Art in Bristol, and the City of Leicester Polytechnic - she had lived in leafy Kew Gardens in West London, growing up in an environment of constant creativity, artistic awareness and dry rot. She immediately pursued her creativity in Book Illustration, working with many different publishing houses and in widely differing styles - and after fourteen years of freelance working, became a founder partner in the media based practice of Corn Tarrant Partnership. Within the practice she has continued to pursue illustration, developing also interior design, theatre, exhibition design and a huge creative contribution - always taking time to maintain her burning enthusiasm for Human Rights, and in this connection she is currently Chair of the Amnesty International Group in Aylesbury. She has also taken, and headed up for ten years, a Foundation in Art and Design Course into a local Art  College - her students achieving huge success over the years.
